The Loading Dock Specialist located at our Atkinson, NH facility. This person is responsible for overseeing daily operations of the loading dock, ensuring the efficient flow of inbound and outbound shipments, and maintaining accurate inventory records. This role combines hands-on labor with administrative responsibilities, requiring strong attention to detail, organization, and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage all loading dock activities, including scheduling, coordinating, and monitoring shipments

• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments for accuracy and quality

• Prepare, stage, and load outbound shipments in a timely and efficient manner

• Maintain accurate inventory records through regular counts and system updates

• Perform data entry related to inventory, shipments, and receiving logs

• Coordinate with drivers, warehouse staff, and management to ensure smooth operations

• Identify and resolve discrepancies in shipments or inventory

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe loading dock environment

• Operate warehouse equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, forklifts) as needed

• Assist with general labor tasks to support warehouse operations

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred

• Previous warehouse, shipping/receiving, or inventory experience preferred

• Basic computer skills and experience with data entry systems

• Ability to operate warehouse equipment like a forklift (or willingness to be trained)

• Reliable tranpsortation

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift and move heavy items (up to 50 lbs or more)

• Standing, walking, bending, and lifting for extended periods

• Comfortable working in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures
