Windfield is growing quickly, and we are looking for a general laborer to work in our warehouse, located in Atkinson, NH. Windfield is a single-source recycler that accepts scrap metal downstream and on-site.

The ideal candidate for this role is a reliable and dependable team member and will have experience working in a fast-paced environment and performing various tasks across the warehouse. 

Requirements: 

  • Full-time, Monday - Friday

  • Be able to lift heavy objects

  • Be able to work in a team environment

  • Reliable transportation to and from work

Responsibilities: 

  • Perform various tasks across our warehouse. 

  • Communicate with Windfield team members throughout the shift.

  • Always put safety first and will always wear appropriate PPE. 

  • Should prefer working in a team environment but be comfortable working on independent tasks. 

Day-to-day expectations: 

  • Pre-inspect and clean the respective operational area to ensure that it’s presentable to customers and ensure that it’s a safe environment 

  • Housekeeping of one’s respective operational area.

  • Communicate regularly with the Facility Supervisor and team members to ensure effective and efficient task completions 

  • Adhere to and understand safety policies and regulations 

  • Perform other related duties as assigned

What will give me an edge over other applicants?

  • Strong communication skills

  • Have a good attitude toward one’s co-workers and supervisors

  • Previous experience working in a scrapyard or similar environment

  • Operating a forklift is a plus but not required

  • Bilingual in Spanish and English is a plus, but not required
